Privacy policy

Data collected

Abstention declarations: When you declare your abstention, the site collects:

Your email address (required)
Your reasons for not voting (checkboxes)
Your written testimony (optional)

Published ideas: When you propose an idea, the site collects only the text of your idea and an optional title. No email address is requested.

Report subscriptions: When you subscribe to receive public reports, your email address is stored separately with double opt-in confirmation.

Site feedback: The Feedback form stores your message, the type you picked (bug, idea, other), the page you wrote from, and an email only if you leave one for a reply. Feedback is never published. The optional address is used only to reply.

How data is used

Email addresses (declarations): Your email address is used only to:

Send the validation link for your declaration
Prevent duplicates (one declaration per address)
Audit the integrity of the public counter
Handle deletion requests

The email address is stored privately and is accessible only to the site administrator. It is never published, never publicly linked to your testimony, never sold, never used to contact you for other purposes.

Testimonies: Validated testimonies are published anonymously on the site after moderation. Only illegal or off-topic content is removed. The site never rephrases: it quotes verbatim or does not publish.

No IP address retention: The site does not retain any IP address when declarations are made or ideas are published.

Sub-processors

Data is processed by:

Cloudflare: distribution network and protection (cache, firewall, DNS resolution)
Google Analytics: audience measurement (GA4, identifier G-8B0TXGN78G), subject to cookie consent

Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. A consent banner allows you to accept or decline. If you decline, no cookie is set and the site works exactly the same.

Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary for the site to function properly (DDoS protection, cache). These cookies are not used for advertising tracking.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data. To exercise these rights or for any question about your personal data:

Data retention

Validated declarations: Email addresses and declarations are retained as long as the site is online, unless you request deletion.

Report subscriptions: Retained until unsubscription (link present in each email).

Intellectual property

The editorial content of the site (texts written by the publisher) is made available under CC BY 4.0 license. Published testimonies and ideas remain the property of their authors.

The logo and visual identity are reserved.

Limitation of liability

The publisher strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However, it cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy or absence of errors in the published content.

Published testimonies and ideas are those of their authors and do not bind the publisher, except in the event of a breach of the moderation obligation.
